Plowman Craven Evans Cycles are "the complete package" according to the BBC Sport website. The UCI registered team had been invited by the BBC to offer the winner of their competition to find a novice rider for the British Cyclosportive some advice and tips about how to ride the 120 mile event, which mirrors the first stage of this year’s Tour de France from Greenwich to Canterbury. In an article and video diary on the BBC Sport website cycling guinea pig and PE teacher Martin Page gives his impression of the team:
"Do not be fooled by these guy’s pink and blue lycra outfits - they are all tough athletes who ride in all weathers, pick themselves up off the tarmac and bust their lungs to get back in the race."
